With Tesla desperate to boost sales, it's now offering a more affordable lease on the Model 3 in the U.S.
The Affordable Tesla
A lease on a Tesla Model 3 now starts at $349 a month with $0 down for 24 months for the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive version (EPA rated at 363 miles of range). The $0 down is especially alluring because some ostensibly attractive leases from legacy carmakers require big down payments. The Long-Range All-Wheel Drive (EPA rated at 346 miles of range) is $549/month with $0 down. Still a pretty good deal.
"We've been targeting the low cost of ownership. Monthly payment is the biggest differentiator for our vehicles," said Lars Moravy, vice president of vehicle engineering, during the 2025 Q1 earnings call on Tuesday.

Tesla is getting slammed right now. In the first quarter, the company posted its worst results in four years. Revenue in Tesla's core automotive business plunged 20% year-over-year, declining to $14 billion, the weakest since the third quarter of 2021.
During the Q1 earnings conference call on Tuesday, executives spent more time than they have in past earnings calls discussing upcoming affordable models, a signal that sagging sales are top of mind. "The models that come out in the next months will be built on our lines and will resemble in form and shape the cars we currently make," said Moravy on Tuesday. "The key is that they'll be affordable and you'll be able to buy one," he said.

Best New Car Lease Deals for April 2025 Toyota/Nathan Leach-Proffer
Now that 25 percent tariffs on imported cars are in full effect, automakers are just as confused as you are on what is going to happen with vehicle prices. As of this writing, there are no immediate changes to sticker prices, but April may be the last month to benefit from what had been a year's streak of falling lease prices.
This is the time to actually believe automakers and dealerships when they shout, "Act Now!" Riding out the next two or three years with a new car that escapes the brunt of high tariffs may be your best move.
Check Our Leasing Guide
Make sure you first read our leasing guide. We've covered everything that may get glossed over in the showroom: advertising fees, money factors, residuals, legal implications, and all the other fine print that could cost you thousands more than you'd expect. When comparing similar cars, be aware that a lower monthly price often demands more money up front. As with any national lease special, enter your ZIP code on an automaker's website to check if these deals apply to your area. Prices do not include taxes or fees and may be higher or lower depending on your location. Research is always your friend.

2025 Nissan Frontier $469 per month/$4769 at signing36 months/30,000 miles
The Frontier is the segment's last standing truck with a naturally aspirated V-6, and for 2025 the interior receives a needed update with a new center stack housing a 12.3-inch touchscreen. This lease is for a splashy, brightly colored Pro-4X with all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, and a locking rear differential. It also includes the Convenience package (360-degree cameras, bed accessories, heated seats, and more) plus the Premium package (Fender stereo, leather, moonroof). Nissan also covers three oil changes. You can save $100 per month if you order an SV.
Toyota
2024 Toyota Tacoma $549 per month/$3999 at signing36 months/30,000 miles
The new Tacoma sounds burly for a turbo-four hybrid, and its 465 pound-feet of torque makes this truck quick and effortless for the first time in decades. This lease is for a TRD Sport with the i-Force Max hybrid powertrain and four-wheel drive. That trim has a large front air dam and a firmer suspension, so it's more for on-road driving than for the rougher trails like the TRD Off-Road.
SUV Lease Deals
Cadillac
2025 Cadillac Optiq $389 per month/$4929 at signing24 months/20,000 miles
Cadillac is pushing its EVs as hard. The new Optiq is the polar opposite to the Escalade IQ in weight, size, and price, yet retains many of the flagship Cadillac's design elements, especially the raked rear quarter glass. The base Luxury 1 trim on this lease has Super Cruise, a 302-mile estimated range, and a 19-speaker AKG stereo. This lease requires current ownership of a 2020 or newer competitor (or a 2011 or newer Cadillac).

2024 Acura ZDX $299 per month/$2999 at signing24 months/20,000 miles
Acura keeps cutting the price on 2024 ZDX models to the point where this mid-size SUV is cheaper to lease than the new subcompact ADX or the Integra. There are more than 2000 vehicles on dealer lots, and Acura has yet to release the 2025 model. This lease is for the single-motor A-Spec, but even without all-wheel drive, this is a remarkable deal. A $4000 conquest bonus is included in the price for owners of 2004 or newer Acura models or 2014 or newer competitors.
Michael Simari - Car and Driver
2024 Honda Prologue $239 per month/$3199 at signing36 months/30,000 miles
If you'd like the Acura ZDX for a year longer and desire all-wheel drive but don't want to pay more, get this Honda Prologue. It's much the same car underneath as the ZDX, and to our eyes, is the best-looking among the EV platform shared with Acura, Chevrolet, and Cadillac. You'll face a mild downgrade in power and cabin materials, but the price is unbeatable—this is Civic money for a roomy two-row mid-size SUV. You'll just need to own a 2009 or newer Honda (or a competitor).
Car and Driver
2025 Mazda CX-30 $234 per month/$2999 at signing36 months/30,000 miles
Except for the CX-50, all Mazdas hail from outside the U.S. So you don't want to snooze on this deal for the subcompact CX-30, which for years has been one of the best choices among subcompact SUVs. The infotainment is dated, but the upscale interior is typical Mazda in terms of quality, fit, and finish. This lease is for the base 2.5 S. All-wheel drive, a smooth 191-hp inline-four, and blind-spot monitoring come standard.
Sedan Lease Deals
BMW
2024 BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe $399 per month/$4299 at signing39 months/32,500 miles
BMW is clearing house on its most affordable car to make room for the refreshed 2025 model, which features updated tech and more standard features. To attract more buyers, BMW ties the lessee into an extra three months on the contract, but in exchange throws in more than $3000 worth of incentives. Included on this 228i are extra-charge paint and wheels, plus the Convenience package, which brings a panoramic moonroof, keyless entry, lumbar support, and wireless charging.
Hyundai
2025 Hyundai Elantra N $441 per month/$3321 at signing36 months/30,000 miles
For roughly the same outlay as the cheapest BMW, why not rip circles around base-level European sedans with Hyundai's rip-snorting Elantra N? A lease on this six-speed manual sedan promises three years of loud, axle-hopping launches and impressive handling, provided you don't overcook it like a rear-wheel drive car. As a budget performance car, the Elantra N has the hardware and style expected of a sporty daily driver without shifting this sedan too far from its roots as a reliable commuter car.

The Best EV Lease And Finance Deals In April 2025
Electric vehicle lease and finance deals have come a long way. With an influx of affordable models and rising inventories, there are plenty of great options. If you're in the market for a fully electric model or a plug-in hybrid this spring, chances are you'll find a deal that fits your taste and budget.
The future of the federal tax credits, which have allowed insane lease and financing offers, is uncertain. President Trump has threatened to repeal the consumer credits that spurred EV adoption in the U.S. That's why experts say right now is the best time to snatch an existing deal and drive home an EV or a PHEV if you've been on the fence.
"The rapidly changing nature of President Trump's proposed tariffs is making it difficult to clearly assess the total impact on the auto sector," Jessica Caldwell, Edmunds' head of insights told InsideEVs. "For consumers looking to play it safe, purchasing sooner rather than later may be the best way to avoid potential price hikes," she added. This applies to both leasing and financing.
April 2025 brings many discounts, bonuses, cash-back incentives and conquest deals, where switching from a rival brand can mean even bigger savings. But not every April 2025 EV lease or finance deal is equally appealing. We've still included all of them for comparison anyway, and we'll update this list monthly. You will find the original source links for each brand at the top of every section.
Note that the deals vary substantially by region. Most prices here use a New York City zip code, so you could find cheaper deals elsewhere. If you find a model in your neighborhood, we recommend checking your local dealer's website for the most accurate pricing. Visit multiple dealers to get the best quote in your area.

Photo by: Patrick George Notable Changes This Month The U.S. Has imposed 25% tariffs on all foreign car imports and vehicle parts. And while that could impact the attractive EV leasing and financing market down the line, we're not seeing those effects just yet. However, there are some changes this month. Several automakers have opened up employee pricing for all customers, including Stellantis and Ford. Employee pricing is now available on lease and purchase of several models, including (but not limited to) the Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV, Jeep Wagoneer S, Wrangler 4xe, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Fiat 500e. The Polestar 2 no longer has any offers as the company has stopped accepting new orders amid the ongoing trade tensions. The Polestar 2 is manufactured at Geely Group's plant in China. But the Polestar 3 continues to be a banger deal. We reported recently that Polestar is aiming to attract unhappy Tesla customers. It is doing that by offering a $15,000 lease credit and $5,000 Tesla conquest cash on the Polestar 3, which can be stacked for total savings of $20,000. So check that offer out in detail below. Other than that, Costco member discounts are back on dozens of models. The most attractive lease deals are still on the Nissan Ariya, Toyota bZ4x, Chevy Equinox EV, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 and the Kia Niro EV. Lucid has several offers to rope in unhappy Tesla customers and the Volkswagen ID. Buzz also has some cash discounts. And lastly, the entry-level rear-wheel-drive version of the Tesla Cybertruck is also available with a lease, but it's pricey. As a reminder, all of the deals below are subject to dealer participation.

Photo by: Jeep Also a note on tax credits. When you lease a new car, the tax credit goes to the lender and is often applied against the lease to offer the buyer a discount. The tax credit also applies to all EVs regardless of where the car and its battery materials come from if you lease, which isn't true if you buy. That means leasing can be the smart move on cars like the Ioniq 6, which doesn't get the credit if you buy it outright because it's manufactured in South Korea. Just be sure to go over all the details related to the tax credit before signing any paperwork. Remember that if you choose to lease instead of buy, you won't have to worry about whether or not your personal tax situation allows you to take advantage of the credit. Also, note that the best deals also typically apply to individuals with excellent credit ratings. Moreover, the best manufacturer-sponsored incentives are often reserved for returning lessees or people who currently drive competitor products. The honeymoon phase of EV offers may be ending soon. The Trump administration could repeal the $7,500 consumer tax credit that encouraged EV adoption up until now. Even though repealing that isn't straightforward, as an act of Congress would be required, uncertainty looms over the future of the tax credits that have made the above offers so enticing. That's why right now might be your best shot at snatching away a great deal on an EV before they potentially vanish with Trump in office, which could make most of the cars listed here more expensive. That said, there are likely additional incentives out there, specific to certain regions or dealerships (if the brand has dealerships). You just have to do your homework. Also, keep in mind that used EVs are available with reasonable deals as well and that the market is finally seeing a notable drop in prices. There's even a $4,000 point-of-sale federal incentive that your used EV may qualify for. Income restrictions apply. If there's a solid EV deal we missed, please share it with us in the comments section below. In the meantime, let us know of any recent deal you took advantage of and how it all worked out.
