Maryland's Great Wolf Lodge, located at 1240 Chesapeake Overlook Parkway in Perryville, Maryland, is the newest and biggest in the national water park chain. Its water park, attractions park and over 700-room resort opened summer 2023 to great fanfare from around the region.

Great Wolf Lodge Maryland's water park covers more than 126,000 square feet of the resort, with slides winding in and out of the building's confines. There are 22 individual slides varying in intensity, including two slides new to the resort's repertoire: The High Paw Holler and Forest Flume, as well as an arcade and interactive games for guests to enjoy.
Great Wolf Lodge is offering a number of discounts and deals as we slowly inch toward spring, including a one-day-only flash sale that reduces the price of trips by hundreds of dollars.

Roughly an hour east of Wilmington, Big Kahuna's (previously known as Sahara Sam's Oasis), is a year-round indoor tropical vacation for the whole family.
Big Kahuna's indoor water park has over a dozen water-based activities, from lazy rivers to thrilling slides. After sliding around on the rides, there's also a game room with all types of arcade games.
The water park is open 10 a.M. Until 6 p.M. Fridays through Sundays. One-day tickets go for around $30 when ordering online, with $10 discounts for seniors visiting the park.

The whole family will have fun at Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark.
Located a two-hour drive from Wilmington in Tannersville, Pennsylvania, Camelback Resort's Aquatopia water park has 13 water slides, one of which holds the title of the longest indoor water coaster slide in the world.
The 125,000-square-foot water park has a transparent roof so guests can get their vitamin D and maybe get a winter tan going before reverting back to hibernation. Aquatopia also has a wave pool, lazy river, a toddler area, a simulated surfing area and a swim-up bar.
Aside from water park activities, the resort also has 170,000 square feet of indoor games for the whole family, as well as over 450 suites available for an extended stay.
Aquatopia is open Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.M. Until 8 p.M. And on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.M. To 9 p.M. Bookings can be made online through the Camelback Resort website.

Kalahari Resorts, in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, is known for its sprawling water park and its entertainment options for the not-so-water-borne adults.
Kalahari has over 250,000 square feet of water parks, dining areas and entertainment areas like arcades and spas. The water park has over 20 different water slides, a water basketball court, lazy river and a swim-up bar.
The year-round 84-degree resort also has bungalows and cabanas available for rent so that parents can relax, but make sure you're up in time for the bubble parties that take place in the water park.
The resort is a roughly two-hour drive from Wilmington. Day passes are available for a quick trip, and additional options are available for early waterpark access or passes to skip the lines on some of the biggest rides.

If you're willing to make the trek up to New York, Kartrite Resort and Indoor Water park is located in the heart of Holiday Mountain, a skiing and snowboarding destination.
For the adventurous families, take a break from skiing and relax in the warm water park with about a dozen slides and rides for everyone to enjoy. Bundle deals are available for booking both a ski trip and a water park adventure.
If it's not too cold, there is also a six-mile hiking trail right near the grounds, an arcade, a climbing wall and more. There are 324 suites available for booking.
