Costco COST, -1.30%   warehouses will be closed on Thanksgiving, as per Costco's standard policy, and members should check with their local warehouse for holiday hours.

What are Costco's Black Friday 2020 deals?

Costco revealed Thanksgiving week discounts in its November sale catalog. The prices are valid online beginning Nov. 26 and also in-store from Nov. 27 to Nov. 30, while supplies last. Here are some notable deals:

  • Body Glove inflatable stand-up paddleboard for $319.99 ($80 savings, online only).
  • Dyson V11 Animal+ cordless stick vacuum for $399.99 ($180 savings).
  • Lenovo LNVGY, -5.46%   IdeaPad 3 15.6-inch touch laptop for $399.99 ($150 savings, online only).
  • Osaki OS-4D Pro Maestro massage chair for $4,999.99 ($2,000 savings, online only).
  • NutriBullet blender combo for $69.99 ($30 savings).

Costco also leaked a few Cyber Monday discounts on appliances, televisions, laptops and jewelry that will be available at Costco.com on Nov. 30.

How can you save money at Costco?

Saving money at Costco often means reining in the temptation to buy in too much bulk. So instead of grabbing three boxes of 20 Kind bars, maybe just one or two. And Costco is world headquarters for the impulse buy. Make a list of must-haves before you go, and bring moral support for sticking to the plan.

If you aren't a Costco member, you might still be able to score a few warehouse bargains: You don't have to be a member to shop Costco online, but you'll pay a 5% surcharge over posted prices. You can always become a member at checkout, at which time Costco will remove the added fee.

Big box equals big variety, and Costco is famous for its supersize selection of merchandise. In 2019, before social distancing was a thing, shoppers crowded the aisles for these Black Friday specials at Costco:

  • $125 off Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link 3-in-1 HEPA air purifier, heater and fan.
